Stills & Archives

Containing more than 3 million photographs, the Archive is the largest collection of African images in existence. Spanning the last 50 years, the archive consists of color transparencies and negatives, and black and white images shot on 35-mm and 120-mm formats.

Advertising and Commercial Photography

During the course of their twenty-year partnership, Mohamed Amin & Duncan Willetts co-authored over fifty-five photography books on Africa and beyond. Unfortunately, in 1996, Mohamed Amin was tragically killed in a hijacked Ethiopian Airlines.

However, out of the partnership with Mohamed Amin and Duncan Willetts, Camerapix advertising and commercial photography continues to bloom into being the best and longest respected photographic memoir in Africa’s advertising world.

Media Consultancy and Training

Our clients have access to a large pool of the latest in hardware, award- winning journalists/producers/directors, and talented technical personnel. We have access to over a dozen crews and producers in East, Central and Southern Africa utilizing the very latest in television news-gathering and commercial equipment, including full High-Definition Canon and Sony camera rigs and the best sound and lighting equipment available on the continent. Camerapix also utilizes the latest in digital editing facilities.
